Osteopath

Steve Salisbury

Steve graduated from RMIT in 2008 obtaining a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) and a bachelor of clinical science. Since then Steve has loved working in private practice, helping people achieve their health goals. His major interest lies in the treatment and rehabilitation of chronic pain conditions. He applies a big picture, wholistic approach to each treatment, considering lifestyle factors, diet, postures and activity level. He is passionate about getting alongside patients, encouraging them in their pursuit of whole body health. Steve also has broad experience working with sporting clubs, athletes, the elderly, adolescents and children. When Steve’s not working, you can find him spending time with his two beautiful girls or in the garden musing over how to find room for one more fruit tree. To keep fit he enjoys surfing and weight lifting.

Osteopath

Lauren

Lauren graduated from Osteopathic studies at RMIT and previously a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University majoring in Human structure and function. Her combined studies work together perfectly to produce great results and has led her to be sought out for advice amongst some of our local GP’s. She has done some additional training in ergonomic workstation setups.

Lauren loves working with people on their individualized health goals, and getting people get back to doing what they love, whether it is back to sport or knitting! She enjoys seeing her patients progress whether it be lifting or bending down – a win is a win!

She is known around our clinic for her witty dry humour and abilities in clearly explaining all things body to anybody! Lauren has a keen interest in preventative care as well as empowering patients to help themselves heal so they can experience their most fulfilled lives.

When Lauren isn’t working you will find her playing basketball, cheering for a netball team or using advanced fondant skills on birthday cakes for her vibrant nephews.

Osteopath

Angus

Angus graduated from his Osteopathic studies at RMIT and is our go to guy for all things exercise based and sports focussed. He spent his youth being active in team sports including cricket and football, and his strong suit is in strength and conditioning.

As a student, Angus worked in concreting and this has laid a solid foundation to understand all trades and their difficulties, however Angus’ interest extend far past the nuts and bolts of structure and function of the musculoskeletal system – he loves getting to the bottom of the issues presented to him.

Angus is interested in how all body’s systems interconnect and the broad variety of treatment options available to optimise function of the whole person.

Angus is known around the clinic for getting off the beaten track for world adventures and enjoying straight black coffee.
